You may be eligible for cardiac rehabilitation if any of the following apply.

• You have had a heart attack (myocardial infarction)
• You have angina
• You have had a coronary artery bypass graft or coronary angioplasty
• You have had heart surgery, including valve surgery
• You have an implantable cardioverter defibrillator fitted
• You need or have had a heart transplant
• You have heart failure
• You have cardiomyopathy (lack of function of the heart muscle)

There is no age limit for cardiac rehabilitation. If any of the circumstances above apply, you will be offered an assessment to join the cardiac rehabilitation programme.
