Pulmonary valve disease

The word ‘pulmonary’ means ‘relating to the lungs’. Pulmonary stenosis is where the flow of blood flowing from the right ventricle, through the pulmonary valve, is obstructed. It mainly affects children with congenital heart disease (heart disease present at birth).
